Humanity has always yearned to explore the unknown, and the greatest of all unknowns is outer space. What will we find there? What questions will we answer, and what new mysteries will we encounter? Jupiter's red spot, Saturn's icy rings, giant clusters of proto-stars, planets where it rains glass, super-dense neutron stars with magnetic fields strong enough to dissolve your molecular structure from thousands of miles away... what other wonders are out there?
In science fiction, characters can get where they want to go by boarding faster-than-light spacecraft. Of course, such spacecraft don't exist in the real world. (Not yet, anyway!)
However, that fantasy does have some lessons we can apply in reality. In order to get where you want to go, you have to take the helm of your ship, know where your destination is, and stay on course.
In “Stellar Navigation,” you’ll learn how to clarify your thoughts on where you really want to go, make a plan for the journey, and stay focused on getting there.

In your daily life you will not encounter black holes threatening to pull you in to their dark centers. You will, however, encounter countless people in the real world whose job it is to keep you in the dark — to deceive you, to manipulate you, and to influence your thoughts — preferably without you even being aware of it. And they’re very good at their jobs!
Fortunately, there are ways to defend yourself against the deception and manipulation being practiced today by advertisers, the media, politicians, and many others.
In “Shields and Sensors,” you’ll learn how to recognize and resist the forces of deception, stand on your own two feet, and think for yourself logically and clearly!

Unfortunately, those things don’t exist, so we have to get by with our own social skills and understanding of people, groups, and communities.
Luckily for us, although we’re not born with those skills, they can be learned.
In “Peaceful Relations,” you’ll get started learning how to understand others, work together with them, get your own points across to them, and reach agreements with them. You’ll also learn some things about how groups of people function and how to get along in them.
